John Michael Ajouri III – Biography

John Michael Ajouri III is an American businessman, entrepreneur, and community leader based in Rochester, Minnesota. A U.S. citizen since the early 1980s, he was born and raised in Lebanon, where his Christian faith and community involvement helped shape his commitment to service, integrity, and leadership.

Over a business career spanning several decades, John founded and managed companies across the United States, the Middle East, and Asia, including operations in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, the Philippines, Bangladesh, and Lebanon. His work focused on international recruitment, business development, and the construction of affordable housing projects that expanded opportunities for working families.

Having lived through conflict in Lebanon, John developed firsthand knowledge of regional instability and Middle Eastern affairs, providing him with a unique perspective on security, economic development, and global challenges.

After settling in Rochester, he helped establish and manage local businesses, including restaurants and service-related operations, contributing to job creation and economic growth within the community.

In 2026, John retired from active business operations to pursue public service. He is currently a candidate for the Minnesota House of Representatives, District 24B.

John is married to Diane, has three children and one grandchild
